R.R. Smith is a native of Kansas City, Missouri and has been a member of the local art landscape for much of his adult life. He was trained and mentored by a Russian Impressionist master artist whose works are displayed globally.  Smith credits much of his success to this mentor and friend.  Smith’s work is frequently inspired by nature, but he is no stranger to commission work and commercial assignments fitting his style and colorful pallet.
